| Our overnight trips depart at around 10:00pm and return the following day at around 6:00pm. On the overnight trips, our fishing time is limited proportionally to the range at which we are fishing. For example, if we are fishing 60 miles offshore, you would get to fish from sunrise until about 2:00pm when we would start heading home. On our 1.5 day trips we depart around 10:00 pm. We will fish the entire next day and return the following morning at around 6:00 am. This type of trip allows an entire day of fishing from dusk till dawn followed by a night's rest before returning to San Diego. On both the overnight and the 1.5 day trip, we will be targeting a variety of species depending on what is available. In the early months of our season, we may be targeting species such as albacore, bluefin and yellowtail. As our water warms, we tend to go through a transition from the above species to yellowfin, big eye, dorado, yellowtail, and marlin. |
