Our overnight fishing charter departs San Diego at 9:00pm and returns to San Diego the following day at around 6:00pm. On the overnight trip, our fishing time is limited proportionally to the range at which we are fishing. For example, if we are fishing 60 miles offshore, you could expect to fish from sunrise until about 3:00pm when we would start heading back toward home. Often, we might start fishing our way toward home in the early afternoon so that we can extend your fishing time. On our 1.5 day fishing trips we depart San Diego at 9:00 pm. We will fish the entire next day and return the following morning at around 6:00 am. This type of trip allows an entire day of sport fishing from dusk till dawn followed by a night's rest before returning to San Diego. On both the overnight and the 1.5 day fishing trip, we will be targeting a variety of species depending on what is available. In the early months of our season, we may be targeting fish species such as albacore tuna, bluefin tuna and yellowtail. As our water warms, we tend to go through a transition from the above species to more yellowfin tuna, big eye tuna, dorado or mahi mahi, yellowtail, and marlin.
